Nepal Economic Summit from tomorrow

The Nepal Economic Summit is taking place in the capital from Monday with the slogan of 'Destination Nepal for Investment'.

The three-day summit to be jointly organized by the Nepal government and Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) will bring together experts, government and private sector representatives from over 12 countries including from India and China.

The programme is organized to draw foreign capital and to impart a message that investment-enabling environment is being created together with investment policy reform at a time when the country is steering ahead to political stability after Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Prime Minister Sushil Koirala is scheduled to inaugurate the summit to be organized to serve the objective of making contributions to the economic development of the country by flowing capital to the productive sectors including agriculture tourism, hydropower and construction.

This is the first of its kind event to be organized under the aegis of public private partnership. RSS
