CHITWAN, FEB 04 - A man was killed in an attack by a tiger in the district on Monday.
Yek Bahadur Tamang, 43, a resident of Jitpur Gunjanagar-7 of the district was attacked by a wil beast while he was collecting fodder at the local community forest nearby Rapti River.
Critically wounded Tamang died moments after the attack, witnessed said. His body has been kept at Bharatpur Hospital for postmortem, Chitwan Police said.
