KATHMANDU, FEB 03 -CPN-Maoist has reaffirmed its stance for an all-side political gathering for forging national consensus in the changed political context.Speaking at a press conference organised in the Capital to make public the decisions made by party's politburo meeting, CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya said that his party should be taken together to end the conflict in the real sense as solution to the present crisis would not end by keeping a part of the
People's War outside the political equation.New level of political consensus was needed for the same, he added.Baidya further said that party unification with the UCPN (Maoist) was still possible provided that the latter amends the guidelinesand the political like it took after party's Hetauda General Convention.Chairman Baidya, however, said immediate party unification was not possible with the UCPN (Maoist). The four-day-long politburo meeting has decided to form a joint people's committee consisting of party and sister wings for the protests, the party said.The politburo meeting has also decided to protest the ordinances on organised crime, extradition, anti-money laundering, and legal assistance, among others, which were tabled and then subsequently endorsed at the Parliament last week.
